Blue Caribbean Tang (Juvenile) with brown spots

Hi I have this Juvenile blue Caribbean tang I've never had a juvenile fish before and im not sure if this is damage or he's changing to his blue colouration? Should I be concerned

That is something called tang thumbprint disease (or fingerprint disease).
I’m away from my reference papers ATM, but it has been documented in wild Atlantic tangs. I don’t think there is a treatment for it, but it isn’t always fatal.

Yeah i cant seem to see my tang i just got home from work.. I hope he is just resting or hiding.. I dont wanna stress him by lifting rocks if hes okay. Hopefully it doesnt kill him and he starts swimming around. I just fed and he didnt come out.

That doesn’t sound good, sorry. I agree though, tearing the tank apart can cause more harm than good.

i did end up finding him. He was sleeping along side a rock but not eating for sure. Today I am unable to find him. I dont have many high hopes for him sadly.
