So I was taking pics of all my fish in the tank.
When I put my finger in the water they all come to it like I am feeding them.
WELL the trigger thought my finger was food.
I pulled my finger out too fast and he scratched his poor little nose on the tank. :(
He's fine no worse for the wear. I can't as much for my finger.
I just so happened to get the crime in progress

Thats awesome. I've let my bluejaw bite my finger before, but I don't think he has chompers like yours, as mine didn't draw blood. However, your trigger looks a bit bigger and mature than mine.

That sucks he got you though...

Naw it's cool He is prolly 6 inches long and about an inch thick in the body.
It's my fault. I've been training my fish to eat from my fingers..
WELL Thats what I get for being stupid :)

Haha. I could probably feed my trigger by hand, but never do. He's by far the biggest eater in the tank right now. Mine is probably about 4 inches long and pretty fat.

I do plan to get him a female when he goes in the big tank though, maybe he'll color up more like yours.

my pink tail got me pretty good when i had my 125 after that i told my cousin to put his finger in the tank and it got him also. they do bite pretty hard

That's some crazy timing to capture that in a picture. My trigger would do that to me if I gave it the chance.

I've seen a huma huma cut a nice-sized feeder fish in half after one pass. They can do a lot more damage than that, consider yourself lucky. Great documentation of the attack!

Wow nice little chompers that guy has. My clown fish gets me good from time to time but couldn't imagine having something being able to draw blood. Lol. Nice timing on the pic too.

Ouch! A staff member 3 hours ago got bit by an 3" Gold Piranha, he was gushing blood all over. As soon as I got done warning him not to hold the fish as it would bite you, it bit him. (We were doing a photo-shoot for the freshwater forums)

Here's the culprit

Ouch! How did you get a pic of it when it happened (or did you stage it ;) )

That piranha looks like it got the worst part of the deal.

i got bit by a gray trigger while snorkeling off the beach once, that little ba*%&$d drew blood also. and i got bit by my uncles eel once, but he barely got my luckily.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. :)
Funny thing was is my wife was right next to me warning me that the trigger would bit me and I said "I'm faster than him"
Well I was clicking away at the fish and he zipped up and grabbed my finger. He had not bit me before but had bit my wife.
heres the four pics leading up to the attack.

Ug reminds me when I got nicked by one feeding some shrimp. It sucks when you feed them for demonstrating purposes and then that happens. Least the customer bought the fish as it had an appetite! ;)

Thats awesome, what a lucky time to be snapping pictures :) Your trigger has some nice coloration, much brighter than mine.
