Blue leg and toadstool coral

I added a blue leg hermit and a small toadstool coral to my tank on the same day. Its a 1/2 in frag, but the hermit has been obsessed with it moving it around the tank, knocking it over and/or clumbing on it. He stays an inch or two in proximity of it. It doesnt seem like it would be a normal interaction, any thoughts?

Hermit crabs can do this.

Did you try gluing the frag down?

I havent yet but i was thinking of doing that
