Blue Planets on Discovery right now...

This isn't the original series.....They went back and re-edited it, the original series has David Attenborough narrating it...

Isnt this a new series??

yayyy! I have only seen commercials for this show, actually, i might have watched it once or twice, but im excited to watch it now!! :)

No, this "new" set of Blue Planets are a cheap reproduction of the BBC/Discovery originals narrated by David Attenborough.

I don't like the Pierce Brosnon (sp?) narration; the information has been dumbed down for us there U.S.Amerikins.

The DVD set is the bomb! The Planet Earth series is good also, but Blue Planet is the King of all Nature Documentaries.

do you have the DVD set?

Yeah, I have the DVD set.

After watching a few more episodes of the Pierce Brosnon version of Blue Planet, they are slightly different. I think they re-edited them and included a few shots that were not included in the originals.
