I’m looking to make a zoa garden. I currently have a lot of reds, yellows, greens and oranges; but lack blue and purple. I obviously want complimentary colors to help balance it out- Any recommendations? What are some cold color colonies you can’t live without? :)

I currently have

King Midas
Bloodsuckers
CB Rainbow Infusions
Rainbow Incinerators
Armor of God (US)
Hawaiian Ding Dang
Frosted Lunar Eclipse
“Red Rage” (from eBay- looks like AOG)
Soprano
Nirvana
GMK

Thank you for your time!

Purple Deaths.

Purple monster.

Tubb blues.

Ice Armageddon. IMO, one of the best looking palys and on the larger side, but they are tough to find. Sold mine for a good chunk of change.

AOI
Tubbs Blues
Blue Lagoon
Blue Hornet (a favorite of mine!)
Purple Monster
VW Bloodshot (light blue)
Purple Deaths
Purple Heart
Miami Vice
Frostbite
Lunar Eclipse (and similar like Punch Bowl)

None of these should be overly expensive or difficult to find if you look at hobbyists. Id say no more than $40 per polyp for any of the above zoas and thats really only for the frostbite, AOI, and VW Bloodshot. Happy gardening!

Those blondies are gorgeous! also I love the pink hippos! :) I bought quite a few blue zoas yesterday with Legendary Coral’s sale!
- Blue hornet
- ASD Atmosphere
- Solar Flare

I can’t wait to pair the hornets with my Kind Midas and bloodsuckers, and the atmospheres with armor of gods!

What ones have you found that are truly red? Not red/orange, for example. I have Bloodsuckers and thought they would be red, but they are more of a rust, especially in white light.

AOIs grow really fast for me.

Not all purple, but Hyper Jubilee are beautiful in person.

I'd frag you both if you were in So Cal.
