we have a 6 inch blue hippo tang, a six inch one spot fox face, a medium yellow tang, 3 engineer/convict gobies, a peach anthers (idk which species they look similar) a tiny crab which lives in the coral we salvaged, along with a 1.5 inch mantis shrimp which was a stowaway on the coral we got, but he hasn't been seen for a month, a valentines sharpness puffer, a six line wrasse, a large starfish which is hiding all the time, a blue streak cleaner wrasse, 2 blue/green chromes, a pajama cardinal, 2 ocellaris clownfish, a 2 inch mandarinffish, 2 yellowtail damselfish, 3 or 4 sea cucumbers, 2 sea urchins, and various snails, I want to get a blue spiny lobster or a red reef lobster for the tank but idk if they would fight, I hear blue spiny lobsters are chill. should I get one?

the lobster is not reef safe or chill in any way. Maybe as a tiny baby. They grow fast and it will eat fish and inverts. The mandarin fish I would expect to be first but they can take out fish much larger

really? I've heard people say they were quite calm and passive, other people said they were agressive little things which eat anything. maybe it depends on their personality, as some people have said they didn't attack...

I definitely wouldn’t say they’re calm but they are not as ravenous as some others.

It will probably try to go for small fish (which is most of your fish) so I would definitely pass on it.

There is a reason you don’t see them in 90% of the tanks on here
