Just picked up a super nice blue star leopard wrasse, super happy:

Hard to take a picture, dwelled under the sand after I brought it home in the qt tank...

I love leopards- no blue star but I have a melaegris, negrosensis, and moyeri :)

Congrats on your new fish, looks like a nice one!

People love leopard wrasses. I think I have like 9 of them coming in my fish order tomorrow. I've never seen mixing some meds in with their food stress them out. It really is a good idea to do the focus/metro/prazi or fenben treatment, but of course your fish and sure is a pretty one.

It's not uncommon for new leopards to hide for a few days when getting used to their tank. Mine thankfully only disappeared for a day or two and has been on a clockwork schedule ever since. Probably helped that mine spent a few weeks at my LFS and we run our lights pretty close to the same schedule.
