Blue Tang not eating

I recently got a small 3-4 inch blue tang 6 days ago and he is still not eating. He will mostly hide under the rock every time I try to feed him with the nori clip or brine shrimp. He also has some type of white rectangular line on his nose, not sure if it's ich because it didn't look like dots. Is it normal for them to not eat for this long when new? My parameters are fine as well. What should I do?

Maybe @vetteguy53081 can help you? Also your tang may be sick, tangs are prone to sickness etc. Send photos of it under white light.

Aside from the fish health - IMO the tank needs more rock, the fish is trying to hide but not able to. The stress level is heightened when a fish can't hide.

The image has reflection from the room and not untypical of this type of tang and this is not a rock issue
You can stack rocks to form a cave but I suggest reduce white intensity
How is tank being filtered?

Add LRS fish frenzy and plankton as well as mysis shrimp
Using canister, assure there is sufficient water movement and that ammonia and nitrates not elevated as does happen with canister units

Everyone else is looking fine. He is just stuck on the bottom now, breathing heavily at this point.

Copper for others , you can but will likely not help this tang
If it was this thin at time of purchase, may have had an issue already

It was perfectly blue at the time of purchase. I'm assuming it's my fault, but I don't know what happened. Should I put it in a bucket right now and add an air stone? I don't have a qt tank right now.

Sorry he's a goner. Moribund basically means your fish is dying :crying-face:
