Blue tang scratch tail

I just noticed my blue tang has a scratch on his tail, not sure if fire shrimp did this to him

Tough to see, getting fish photos can be tough! It looks like a minor infection, probably from an injury, but I doubt the shrimp caused it. Jay

Thank you Jay for this info, yesterday the cor was red now it's white i took more photos, sure is tough taking pics

It does look infected, but I imagine getting that fish out and into a treatment tank would be pretty difficult. It isn’t in a vital area, it may well heal on its own.

sure is difficult to take the tang out, yesterday i sow the fire shrimp on his tail, so i thought he's the one who did this to him. i have 2 clean up shrimp and 1 fire shrimp

fire shrimp was on the cut not sure if he's the one who did this to him or... yesterday the cut was red now it's white. can it be maybe fire shrimp fighting for the "territory"
