Whats the min tank for these, I have looked at a few diffrent sites and the size varies from 25G to 150G. I read they grow pretty fast to around 6 inches so i would think they need atleast a 100g-150g. I'm contemplating about adding one to y 100g 30x30x24.

Atlantic blue or blue hippo???? My blue hippos grow slow man there happy in my 200 but I had them in a solana when they were babys... Been almost a year and there about 2.5" long they don't grow fast IMHO. I tried a Atlantic blue but he didn'take it out of quarantine...:(
Or ya talking a powder blue??? There mean!!!! Need a big tank...

For sure a Hippo, I would Definitely not hesitate about putting one in a 200G, but i only have a 100g =/

From my exp with them they should be fine in that tank for a couple years... Mine have always grew slow.... If ya buy a 4" one you might have to upgrade soon lol...

My hippos grew real fast I got a 1 1/2 inch one and it is probally 4 1/2 in a year. I have 3 now the smallest is that 4 1/2 inch one. I would say the biggest tank as possible

Dud was that the only fish you had and did you feed them 5 times a day. That's fast growth. They like lots of room to swim. I had 4 they just keep swimming and are fun to watch when they get along.

mine is in a 170 he was full size over a foot within 4 yrs. i wish the tank where bigger for him, I'll never put another one in a tank this size agian
