So I have had this guy fir a couple of weeks. Eating like a champ but stays only in his burrow.

is this normal?
Here’s a vid of him eating.
plus he will only eat pellets! Trying to mix it up but he just spits it out.

Mine spits out pellets. I soak a few flakes and pick them up with a Baster to feed him. I’ve had him a few months. The other food I have floats too well. I’m gonna try a few other things but for now it’s wet flakes from a turkey baster. Usually give some to the yellow watchman Gobo too.

I have a really fat and happy Blue Spotted Jawfish. I've had him for almost 9 months now. He doesn't stray far from the burrow at all especially when people are around who aren't me. He will come out and dig, swim around a bit and be more comfortable when I am there but as soon as anyone else is around in my dorm room, he hides. Mine will exclusively eat flake food. I have tried everything and he isn't interested.
