Bought as an unknown SPS... Please helpp ID

I bought this coral and was told it was an SPS but did not know what kind....

Its about 12" wide and grows kinda like a Capricorns but will encrust if it touches a rock....

Please help me ID this coral....

That is one awesome coral. Looks a bit like a clam in those first pics, just missing the shell :)
 
i want a frag.... :) its really cool! where did you get it at? ive never seen one like it
 
You have a species of Hydnophora that only plates. I am unsure of the exact species on this one but it is very, very aggressive.

It's a very nice piece you have!
