Bounce goes the mushroom

Bought this OR mushroom about 6 months ago while picking up on line order from POTO. Had a few extra bucks in my pocket so bought it on the spot. Looked like typical orange rhodactis has tripled in size and seems to be going bounce! Thoughts?

Don’t think lightning had anything to do with it. It’s on the sand bed at about 150 par
