Would you call these toxic bounce mushrooms? I got them from a guy that's had them for 15+ years. what would a good one of these be worth?

That's interesting, there fairly plain purple shrooms with green bounce bubbles.

It could be lighting,water parameters,bioavaliablity space alot of old heads that are into the game told me bounces werent around back in the day of mh and t5s the lady at my lfs claims its a phenotypical expresion when mushies ate kept under intense lighting(new led technology)with low flow but then again we dont really know it could be this it could be that... my theory it was scooped out of the deep ocean probably before the indo coral ban and was shipped all over the world and looked like a normal mushie then eventually started to show different exression,cuz genotype plus environment equals pheno type and we now have different expressions

@Pico bam ucould theoretically frag ur bounce give me a frag disc and it might show a whole new phenotypical expression(i.e change color due to stress from shipping)and possibly show a new face based on new water parameters and the environment provided

It crazy to think we could have a frag of the same mother and they can turn out completly diffrent eventhough they are asexually idedic

But that is a beautiful coral for sureyou have something nice its like a more platinum green

It could be due to lighting as zooanthele create cloroplasrs within to give pigment tation

Yea like many mushroom different light different flow and parameters and they look completely different I bought a big cristata torch years ago and it completely changed colors was brown with purple tips now green with blue tips I've seen OG bounces with red bubbles before and man I want one, so many variants when I comes to sticks too

Even when you put coral next other colored they change colors.
