I've recently noticed sweeper tentacles in the daytime. This seems different from his usual behavior. I have posted a video. At first I thought it was hungry, but it didn't take food when I tried. Is the unruly anemone the problem?

What kind of "brain coral"? Platygyra? Acan? Favia? Lobophyllia? I have a Platygyra that will sometimes do that, nothing to worry about

Don't see any video. Are there any other corals near by? It might be trying to defend its area or clear a spot to grow into.

Wow, thank you so much. I thought the anemone was bothering him. I will simply consider it a treat. Is it normal for it to "close off" parts. The original frag no longer has the green parts.

Some corals are known to change colors due to different perimeter changes like light and what not. That might be part of why its not green in some parts as its not getting the same light. I wouldn't worry unless it starts to brown or white out.
