Brain coral

Hello I'm new to saltwater tanks and I purchased this coral it's been 2 days since I put it in the tank and noticed some things. 1 it had a white film on some spots. 2 one of the sides of the coral looks dead. 3 looks like the pest of tapeworms came along with it. If anyone can help me figure this out that would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you have a few majanos on there. Start with getting those gone. There ate several methods of getting rid of. Don't want those to spread in your tank.

From the looks of it, as in it only looks bad on one side, it was probably battling another coral in the previous tank. Assuming your parameters are good, it should recover and be a nice piece for sure.
