Hubby thinks he bumped it while cleaning the glass and perforated the polyps, any way to save it? This pic is from yesterday but is even smaller today

It looks irritated right now, keep an eye on it for a few days. If a brown jelly substance begins to form you will need to frag that branch off or it could spread to the entire colony.
 
make sure you have good random flow around it and let it recover.
