I'm betting most of us started with a beater or at least old!
Just for fun, I was trying to remember my cars. In order (I think):

• 1959 MG-A
• 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible
• 1974 Pontiac Trans Am (really wish I still had this)
• 1977 Pontiac Trans Am
• 1974 Chevy Corvette (in a trade for the crappy 77 TransAm even up)
• 1979 Chevy Corvette
• 1981 Chevy Corvette
• 1981 Honda Prelude
• 1986 Honda Civic
• 1989 Honda Prelude
• 1979 Chevy Corvette (2nd car)
• 1995 Ford Mustang GT
• 1979 Chevy Corvette (yes, I had 5 of them)
• 2000 Chevy Silverado
• 2002 GMC YUkon
• 1979 Chevy ElCamino (3rd car)
• 17 years of company cars
• 2017 Ford Explorer

The first I owned was my mother's Pontiac 6000. I got that in the will. My first car I bought was a 1989 ford pobe. I miss that car. It was my all time favorite car. Lots of memories good and bad

If my LeSabre could have talked I would have been in the county lockup with a mob of angry townspeople outside awaiting my release. My friends and I had some fun in that vehicle.

We also used to have an ongoing fireworks war with our cars. It was a small town and you would see your friends driving around a lot. The game was to drive up all sneaky along your friends car, light the fuse and shoot fireworks into their car while driving. Fun, huh? I used a broken car antennae to aim mine and it worked excellent. You did not want to cut one of us off on the road, either.

@Fin you need to update your saying. Unless you drained your tanks
Um, nope. It is still true. The Reef Savvy 125 (main tank) has dust in it. It has never been wet - yet. I do have Pirate's Reef wet (finally) and there is my 15 gallon homeade aiptasia propagation facility (my other nano).

I wrecked my 1974 TransAm the night I saw Smokey and the Bandit. A bit of irony.

My first car was a 1979 MGB. A beater of sorts. A 99.00 paint job, new carpet, and tlc...my baby.
I could see you speeding around in this. Red hair flying all over the place. :)

Strangely I cannot use the “ha-ha” emoji and “sad” emoji at the same time.

My baby!!!! Ok, she was white, but... Oh I miss her!
I thought you said it was black. Darn I should have not killed so many brain cells with alcohol through the years. :) I will fix the pic above.
