500mph 100ft wave. Lol.

“Where’s my flippers!”
Grab that harpoon gun, shoot that bad boy into the sidewalk and hold on!!

BTW this technique might work for tornados as well, though no guarantees.

"Its not that the wind is blowing, it's what the wind is blowing" Twister...

I've seen 2x6s slammed thru trees like a spear in a hurricane.

First... AWESOME movie!

Second, I'm certainly not actually suggesting someone shoot into a sidewalk with a harpoon, grab ahold and try to ride out a tornado :p . Might be neat to see someone do that with a go pro or something though.

I'd try it...

Bold words in the state known for earthquakes and forest fires.
And mud slides... :)

I’m glad I don’t live some place that is ever in danger of tsunamis either. That seems awful. What would you even do.:oops:
You could always keep one of these in your back yard. This is an escape pod that they use on offshore oil rigs down here. They have seat belts. :)

Lol very true. Those are scary. So are tornados and hurricanes.

I love the rain though. In PA it rained like 1/3 of the time, it was great. It rains here December-feb a few times then is super sunny the rest of the year. Not to exciting.
Another reason to leave Cali

I thought all you Cali folks have surfboards.

Oh yea I forgot to tell ya guys...I was explaining to my daughter how clownfish change from male to female and that "Marlin" may be a girl because that's the biggest clownfish. So she wanted to rename him/her. So it's now officially Madeline and Nemo
I’m always intrigued how most kids are completely okay with this concept in clownfish, but it freaks out many adults. Smh.

this is a tornado that hit a Taylorville IL 1Dec 2018. About 30 miles away from Springfield IL. Borderline f2-f3

The one last night was in around Eddenburg IL about 17 miles away.
Do you know how upset I just got starting to look at those pics after reading your post about tornado warnings? My natural mode kicked in. I was already thinking about what to pack for y'all.

@sfin52 - I was born in Mt. Vernon, southern Illinois. We had lots of tornadoes pass through when I was young. Illinois is a hotspot for them. Scared the life out of me. I hope all is well.

I am from STL and we got dozens of tornadoes at a time quite often. It's amazing to me that nothing ever hit our neighborhood.

I live in Alabama now and destruction has happened all around us and I have helped find people. THAT is a terrible experience I hope to never have to do again. But, if the need arises...
