I scrub bubble algae too. I would soak it in vinegar. Why not since it is easy to remove?

+1 for sure and then grab an emerald crab?

I don't scrub bubble algae. Only had a couple. One had an aiptasia on it. I really wish I hadn't deleted that pic.

True! I clean my cheap Jaboas once a month because they loose steam even though they still look fairly clean. Dont know if its the same with better power heads

My MP40's used to be able to go months without losing flow. My Gyres need to be cleaned at least every other month or they drop off.

Ha! I ran across this pic of me in high school in California last night - out of my yearbook (1972)! It gave me an idea. How about a yearbook picture challenge and let's see some of the rest of the Katrina thread people back in the good old days? I bet not many will be in black and white.
