My starfish is looking discolored in some spots. I tested nitrates and they are low. What could this be?

No these clowns were raised on pellets.. And I have a really good type of pellet. HIGH NUTRITUON WISE

I agree with Katrina... See if you can get something fresh from the grocery store, like shrimp or fish without anything on it. Chop it up really fine and then freeze it in ziplocs in thin sheets. Then you can break off a little piece and drop it in the tank. Or, for easy mode, if you can get to a fish store get some frozen Mysis.
