it says that when their legs come off they re-grow
It depends on the why. They will in distress drop legs.
I’d consider feeding.
I've tried that... he wont eat it immediately and I don't know about any other times
Bummer. Keep trying to rotate stuff.
They do hate salinity swings
and I have 3 Kenya tree frags on shells. Anyone want them I wont charge you but you'll pay shipping.
Foods. Algae , meat, etc

-Zack, who wouldn’t mind helping a little guy out.
whatever.. it doesn't really matter.. any frag
just had to flush my star firs loss in the hobby
first* besides the chromis.. which I only had for 1 day.. were sick from store so it wasn't my fault
there is an arm from the star fish still in the tank. will that re grow or should I toss it?
To my understanding, they grow new legs from the body, not a new body from legs. Toss it if it were me.
-Zack, who is no starfish expert
what should I replace this star with? because now i need something to help shift the sand
Crabs and snails if you don’t want a fish. A difficulty with sea stars and most other sand sifting inverts , there’s not enough of what they need to survive in the sand of a new tank.
i have 4 kenya trees... anyone want them? i just threw one out but have 4 left... if not claimed by Friday in just gonna flus them. My LFS isn't interested in Kenya
Where are you located Will? I wouldn’t mind trading with you if you looking for a few frags
