Really hammer and screw driver compared to many here like Elder1945. Now he is the boss of design and execution. I do lots of kitchen and bathroom counters in Corian, Corian Quartz and related products. So most of my parts are very large. I still want to get back into the Aquarium trade someday when I can no longer lift those heavy counters lol.

Though I will never have his shop, my goal is to get a much larger CNC and a 60 watt laser cuter as well.

I have a ton of woodworking equipment already.

I love DIY stuff!

Well I just stepped out to see if I could get my truck up the hill....not going to happen due to snow. The neighbor even tried to hook up his jeep to help...still not going to happen. So I just took the Toyota Fourunner to the bank and lumber yard. I get back and what do I see....food every where and I missed out! Where is the design? Did you all forget to design the sump? Well after we clean up the mess and get showered maybe you can all step up and design this sump.

I can cut a Kraken with the CNC but for fine detail we have a Vinyl cutter. So send me a design you like so I can get my son on the cutter before he moves to Seattle on the 22nd.

Ok guys. You heard the man...start submitting! My requests are...easy, 12" wide, no more than 28.5" long, no taller than 18". Andrew likes clear and black. Must fit Tunze 9004. @Lowell Lemon the rest is up to you guys. Oh...I would like to continue using chemipure blue because I buy in bulk. One product is easier. I realize I will probably need to use 2 bags at a time.

Last night Andrew was concerned about the tank not being able to happen because of the sump. I explained the situation. He was MORE than happy!!!

The sump doesn't need a Kraken. I had already looked at cutting one out of frosted window cling vinyl.

Sump don't need to be fancy and expensive. All my sumps are DIY from old tanks I have laying around, except the one on my 180 which was costume made by My aquarium builder.
The cheapest sump was on my frag tank, it was an Ikea plastic box, without any baffles, sections or anything!
