Isn’t your tank 30x30 though? Technically that’s 60” for a tang to swim [emoji57]. I think they use width almost as much as length. Especially with a smaller bristletooth, and added after the tailspot has had time to establish itself, it’ll work out great

No reason. I’m just weird like that. Also think there are less options when it comes to captive bred. But captive bred provides a lot of benefits. Won’t get into it because well it’s a nice list.

I have only seen them race around the perimeter of tanks at the LFS.

Give them rocks and they will explore much more. Just make sure they have adequate swimming room.
