I think I'm going to add an outlet to the wall behind my canopy so I can avoid cords hanging down. I feel like it would give it a cleaner look and keep my other outlet free for just the tank.

That’s awesome. Cool boss

So for two days the big clown hasn’t been in the BTA but the smaller hasn’t left. They play more and the small is now bullying the big one. Sometimes when the small one is by the other the big one twitches on its side bent in a 90. Confusing lol

The curved sideways thing is submissive, I love watching fish interact. :)

Pumps. I don't have one yet. I'd much rather buy from one of you guys. @Lowell Lemon you said you might have one lying around the shop? If you are willing to sell, please let me know. After much reading...numerous people swear by the 1260. I think that is what I should get.

Hippie kid says we are going to have to go with something equally nice for the ATO. He wants something as nice as the sump. (No pressure) I'm open to suggestions for something budget friendly. Also I need to confirm what size. I was thinking between 7.5-10g?

I agree it will look cleaner. I don’t like the distractions of cords.

Me either. Not to mention my concerns with hanging cords + water with Andrew.

Honestly if I can avoid AC going above water, I do. I am going to run wires from the supplies inside paintable wall track. That way it blends in.

This is a good idea! No drip loops needed.

That size should be fine. Figure losing roughly a gallon or more a day. Each ststem is a little different. I would see if Lowell can make that also. Where would the reservoir be located?

Curious as to why? I had a six outlet power trip mounted to the upper back of my canopy on my 140. I plugged all my lights into it and it stayed high and dry.

I am just using a 29 gallon aquarium from PetCo ($29). It will sit behind my tank. Painted the back, sides and bottom Patriot Blue and just left the front clear. I need to make a glass top and drill some holes to install my 1/4” bulkheads fir my water lines. It will look cool (match my color sceme), will last maybe three weeks in between refills and it was inexpensive.

Excuse the construction zone mess in the pic (and dust :))
