Derby pie is ok. We celebrate the Derby every year.

Dang. Rip. Come over to NY. Apparently derby pie in some of the Hell’s Kitchen restaurants are good. Never tried it because well... I don’t got time for Hell’s Kitchen

Lemon meringue and key lime are on my top favorites list, pumpkin is better than sweet potato(texture is smoother, dont ask me why) and I dont believe I've ever had a derby pie, but I've made a turtle cheesecake before, which is kinda just pie with cream cheese and pecans and caramel and chocolate...

That’s sounds so good minus the pecans. Lol. Maybe I should try that with pecans?

Wife makes a butterfinger pie that is awesome. It's basically a bunch of home made whip cream with crunched up butterfinger on a grahm cracker crust and chilled.

there are 2 versions crunchy or soft
The cheese is called "Nabulsi cheese" is similar to mozzarella, we soak it first to remove any salt from it. and the top crust is full of sugar syrup and ghee. it just milts in your mouth.

p.s Nabuls is my home town in Palestine which is famous for Kunafa, Cheese , Olive oil and olive oil soap.
