Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

I'm Irish and Native American. That should explain it all.

While I usually throw caution to the wind and comment on everything; NO COMMENT! :D

I would love to use my Google Home Hub as a controller interface on the nano... but that thing is seriously limited on what apps you can install. It's just basic stuff like Pandora, Spotify, YouTube and Netflix... I've searched the interwebs also and I dont see anything on jailbreaking them either.

I was recently reading an article and guide on using Tuya devices and breaking in to them. It referenced how Tuya is presently changing their design to become more difficult to break in, in the very near future. I'll try finding the link but cannot guarantee I'll be able to do so.

Maybe you can suggest some things you like about yours or wish you had. We have never had any sort of controller.
Biggest thing I haven’t done yet on my controller that I wish I had are switches. I know how to and I know you can had physicall switched to an apex, I just haven’t done it yet. One day I will buy an break box and do it, it’s not always convient to use your phone to turn stuff off.

Yes! I agree!!! Manual options are needed. We live at the foot of a small mountain. We actually lose all cell signal and wifi sometimes. (House Mountain)

I thought about going Pi on controller, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to figure it out. Guess I should have gone for it.

Dude... it is very user-friendly and not difficult to set up. There is soldering involved and, obviously, good/solid connections are very important in all electronics.

I have never tried soldering, but it’s one of those things I know I can do if I sit down and do it.

Are you sure you lose wifi? Are you talking about your personal wifi network in your house?

There are some tricks but, yeah, it's not difficult.

Plan for this evening.
