I think worst case is Taura syndrome virus. He will either be fine or...yours doesn't look like that to me. From what I read it could be chemistry changes in minerals in food and water, or simple bruising. I did some reading for our Pederson before we got him. I could be way off, I'm new too.

I was thinking maybe a trade for coral down the road. It's gonna be a while for my tank.

I understand the basics. If I understood it correctly it's almost like hiv or fiv in shrimp.

@Will Godfrey take the rock out for a sec and remove the bubble algae. No big deal. The white thing looks like a sponge from the pic. DO NOT pop the bubble algae in your tank. Breathe. :)
