I was thinking the same thing in planing my macroalgea tank. Any recommendations on supplements. I dose furtizers in my freshwater planted tank. I just assumed macro would need to be the same way.

The terms I need help with...are these all just components of a sump plumbing? Are they different styles?

I am no expert, but these terms refer to the way it drains into the sump. Durso is the quietest usually.

I've been running a Herbie since before they were called a Herbie. I saw one setup in a store and it was so quiet. I tried beananimal and went back to Herbie. Less setup and expense and holes. LoL.

I swear by them.
