On my birthday I acclimated the hawk after many drinks, but do not tell anyone
i always thought they were a "with caution" fish.First Hawk I ever owned. Great fish. Out all of the time and the other fish ignore him completely.
Although I don't know you, Fadi, I am happy your loved ones are safe. Call me psycho, um I mean psychic, but I have a funny feeling that our not knowing each other is going to change.
Many of what are called "100 year events" are happening more and more often these days. I hope the city visits ideas for water handling and implements some type of relief for the future.

Just one. This is a Glass Cages tank. Oversized pipe. The 1” is the drain and the 3/4” is a return line. Lots of (mostly older) reef ready tanks came this way. The 3/4” isn’t large enough to act as an emergency drain. I would use it as is, or drill the 3/4” to accept a 1” backup drain. My 140 was plumbed the same way - except there were two overflows. So if one drain stopped up, you still had a second drain. @Katrina71 , is there one or two overflows in the tank? Sorry, but I have missed a lot of what has been discussed. :)
