Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

This Lobophyllia had his filaments out and they were long. I gave him a wide berth. I would say similar to the Acanthastrea, but the Acan feeders are pretty short. Only a couple of inches. The Lobo’s are much longer. 6-8” sounds right.

EDIT: I will try and spot feed him tomorrow. Maybe one of the kids can help with a video.

I have been tempted to elbow someone at a buffet.

Me too.

BTW, I am making slow cooker apple spice cake cobbler right now. Only 2 more hours!

Yep, we go to the same buffet......

I'm one of the strange ones that will not eat at a buffet. Not ever. I just cannot bring myself to do it.
As a matter of fact, a number of years ago I was a Regional Sales Director for a company and had roughly a little over 140 people that I lead. A couple times a year I would take the whole team out for dinner. More than once they voted to go to a popular buffet. I went and drank coffee. Black coffee. I didn't even trust the creamer.

So, it appears that a partial theme has developed with the fans of this thread of posting pics of their fish and corals. In keeping with the partial theme, I thought I would post a pic of a puffer my daughter got me for my birthday recently. It has quickly become the lowest maintenance fish I have ever owned.

I would like to introduce "Hufflepuff." (Take a wild guess what Kyla's all-time favorite book and movie series is!)

Some of my fish. I believe these would thrive in my dry tank! I would QT them first, of course. :)

Very cool! Did you paint all of them?

Um, no. Franklin Mint porcelain. There are about a dozen more of them.

Ahhhhh... good 'ol Franklin Mint!

I'm thinking it would be a cool idea to produce these as plain white and sell them with a paint kit. One a month. Like a "Fish of the Month" painting club.

The "All You Can Eat Buffet" closest to me also used to cater the Atlanta Pre-Trial Detention Center (city jail). Fried catfish was brought out from the kitchen in a wheelbarrow (I'm not exaggerating) and put on the steam table with a shovel, cleaned well of course, ha ha.
