I know but he’s still closed up, not the best sign. I’ll have to test nitrate and phosphate when I get home.
Duncans are moody af. Give it a few days. If it doesn't improve move it and give it a week before moving again.

was still breathing, but the boss hermit was already in position...

about 15 minutes later, the circle of life is happening. Went for the eyes first in case anyone was wondering.

I had a plan too... Talked to the LFS about the best way to get the 6line out of the tank, felt confident I could make that happen without removing all my rock. They were going to take him back, and now it’s too late...my CUC is feasting right now. Do I just let this happen and assume any ammonia spike is negligible, then remove the carcass after they’re done?

moving forward, now I know my wrasse is a murderous ba*t*rd. Does he get to stay in the tank now that he got what he wanted? 2 clowns and a blue devil damselfish are his current tank mates.

still can’t believe it...24 hours ago everything had been peaceful for 7+ months.

I could use some flow tips from y’all. Something just changed in both tanks. The flow is too intense.

It’s like it ricochets off each other and hits everything too violently. Been spending hours trying to get it right.
Man, I mess with my powerheads all the time. I see other tanks with lots of indirect flow and cannot reproduce it. I either have it blasting corals or blowing sand.

It has taken me countless hours to get my flow the way I like it and I don’t even have a power head!
