Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Oohhh... I get it. Last house on the street, strange cars in and out of the driveway all day. That stuff isnt legal in NC yet either.
Exactly!! Our neighborhood is mostly chill though, if you walk around at certain times of the day you can usually smell something. Some smells are better than others ;)

Doesn't exist up here lol they flopped BIG time and lost billions of dollars attempting to expand into Canada

I remember that. Covered them back in my equity research days. That was reall bad. They had to close a few hundred targets.

Why didn’t people like them?

Yeah I didn't think it was possible for such a retail giant to have such a disastrous roll out. For me it wasn't that people didn't like them. It was they tried to do things all wrong. Walmart has such a huge grip up here in Canada and it takes time for people to go somewhere new and try something new. They should have rolled out maybe 10 stores in major cities across Canada and start working on there image to the Canadian public first. Instead they went completely overboard and rolled out hundreds of stores at an untolled cost and tried to saturate the market. Unfortunately things like that just don't work very well up here. Our geography and population doesn't allow for a major roll out like that either. With a population of just shy of 40 million and 500-1000kms distance between some major cities, insane distribution costs and a limited market in general that's saturated by Walmart. It would have taken a more methodical approach to be successful here and that's not the route they took.
Josh do you teach macroeconomics in your spare time?

That makes sense and is sad. They are great.

What do you shop there for? Every time I’ve went it’s been disappointing. They don’t seem to specialize in anything, and just remind me of an overpriced Walmart (not that I shop at Walmart either!).

Bunch of random stuff from beer, distilled water, cleaning supplies, washing stuff, etc.

I find them cleaner, better items in stock, and less chaotic than Walmart.

I still can't believe you didn't get a black eye after the frag meet and that behind shot! ;)

Some of us were missing during said shot and believe said shot should be posted again. You know, to help catch us up! ;)

Lol I do not no, however I did take intro to marketing back in my college days ;)

I agree, it would be really nice to have some healthy competition up here as of now Walmart has no real competition in the vast majority of towns and cities.

Same could be said for Cell phone companies up here, you guys would cry bloodily murder if you ever got one of my regular bills
Canada, eh...

All I know is that when I was a little kid, the books I would buy would have 2 prices: one for the US, and a higher price for Canada. I asked my dad why, and he said because the US was better.

then I grew up, and bought this amazing shirt.

She knows better than to try... ;Hilarious

That being said, I am a gentleman and do take her feelings and occasionally her input into consideration before doing anything too rash.
