It doesn’t plumb in. It just sits in the tank or sump. Probably better inside the tank. This is mine. This is the Oxydator A.

The hydrogen peroxide goes in the little plastic chamber with the catalysts. Then that chamber goes into the ceramic housing. The oxygen slowly releases through a couple of small holes in the top of the plastic chamber and then out into the tank water around the round top on the housing.

The catalysts. About the size of rat poop.

Hmm. I think it might be cool to try, but not at 109.00. maybe I'll luck up and find one 2nd hand.
You never asked about the price. :p They are actually not that common here. Can’t find them just anywhere. You would be lucky to find a used one, but if anyone could find one, it would be you. :). No real moving parts and the catalysts should last forever, unless you lose them. All it needs is the food grade hydrogen peroxide.

I know it uses H2O2 and a catalyst to release the bond between the hydrogen and oxygen atoms... but what does it do?
Kinda super saturates the tank with O2. Eliminates bacteria blooms, algae, and cleans the water. I would also assume it boosts the fish immune system and promote healing much like in humans.

The oxidation that occurs is similar to ozone injection without any electricity. What is not to like? They are beneficial in fresh or saltwater. I used to sell cases of them to local stores when Aquarium Products was still a company. I am sure Aquarium Products "borrowed" them from Europe and made their own packaging here in the U.S.
