Brand new euphylia coral won’t open

I got these coral yesterday and drip acclimated for an hour and they won’t open up besides all my other corals and BTA doing great

New corals can take a week or longer to acclimate to a tank and open like normal if in fact your tank parameters are good.

This is not an emergency either and should not be posted as such.

So some corals will take longer to open up than others it took my zoanthids a whole week to fully open up

Just so you know also, hammers prefer to be off the sandbed. Mount down low on a rock or use a piece of rock rubble to mount the frag and raise it off the sand.
Okay thank you I was planning on moving him just like you said with a piece of rubble
