I picked up a large group of green finger leather coral yesterday I glued them onto the rocks and they just slump over will they straighten up when they adjust and open up

What I did to my old leathers was a large frag made 4 out of it

The only thing that sticks is substrate of some kind.
They will attach themselves to substrate if given the chance in low flow.

Put it in a small plastic container with rock rubble, place it on the sand in a low flow area. Within a week or two it will attach to a piece of rubble and then you can place it where you want.

Give it some time. They tend to do that when put in new environment. Mine took almost 2 weeks the settle in .

Actual coral might just stick the corals in holes
I've used rubber bands to loosely attach them to small coral rubble or frag plugs. The trick is to not get it to tight or it will just split them where the rubber band holds them.

Leathers run on their own timeline
