So as the title says I'm brand new to the site and the hobby. I've always wanted a saltwater setup since I was a kid. Now I have the money and time to do so. Looking at it now it seems to be quite the endevor. Anyone who could point me in the right direction (reading materials, articles, step-by-step guides and the like) please do. Anyone with any help to offer pm me please. So hit me up I will be designing my tank and selecting equipment for the next few weeks if ya wanna help I welcome you.

R2R is an amazing tool and a massive network of people with diverse experiences.
I've learned quite a bit in the year or so of being on the forum :)

R2R is amazingly awesome, I'm new myself and they are instrumental in my success so far. One thing I did was the BRS 52 weeks of feeding videos on YouTube which basically covers everything. I'm still referring back to them often. Good luck and welcone

Just checked out the 3 min intro video. Looks to be exactly what I've been looking for, thanks so much.

Welcome aboard, Odiebass!

That thread Dbl linked to, along with the "52 Weeks" series (and all the "suggested links" you'll find along the way) will either be plenty to get you started or completely overwhelming. Either way, when (not if!) you have questions, ask away here! I've never encountered a group of people more dedicated to sharing the enjoyment and helping others to be successful.
