I purchased 4 xr15’s and was installing tonight and one of the screws that holds the mount on is stripped. I hate to return this and possibly be without a light as they arent that easy to come by. Any ideas for a fix?

Bring it to Home Depot and match up the thread size, then paint black. Done.

Ecotech is pretty good about replacement parts. If you call them tomorrow I imagine they’ll just ship you the part(s) that you need. They ship from Pennsylvania and normally it only takes like 3 days to get stuff from there to florida, but with the state of shipping the way it is now it might take a little longer.

Bring it back to your LFS I am sure your tank will be fine with 3 lights for the moment.. If you modify that light and you have issues in the future it will be harder to "warranty" or if you want to sell the light you will take a hit.
