Curious if anyone here has any experience breeding this species? Never tried breeding clowns before, but this pair constantly has eggs.

My question, are these any more difficult than say Ocellaris? I've been wanting to give this a try for a while now, but wondering if it's worth it?

I believe the procedure would be relatively the same. Only worth it through if you have someone willing to buy them off of you. Otherwise when my clowns lay eggs and hatch I consider it free food for the other fish :)

"Spotys" are rare enough that it might be worth your time. We had a guy here who used to breed his Spotys and from what I was always told everything was basically the same.

I'm sure I could trade or sell the babies to my LFS. I'm not too worried about making a profit. It's always just been a goal of mine to successfully raise clownfish. I'm a little late for this current batch, but I think I will set up a nursery tank and give it a try when the next round of eggs come.

def want to have your rotties going and strong basically about the day they are laid to make sure you'll have enough.
