Main question:
I'm wondering if anyone knows the actual solubility of the alkalin8.3p powder in water. Can it be mixed at a higher concentration than 8.45g/L?

Details:
My tank has been cycled for about a month now and has zero corals or Coralline algae but has been consistently consuming about 0.1 dkh alkalinity per day (chart below).

I have been dosing Brightwell alkalin8.3p straight powder to the system to experiment with alk and pH and get a feel for things. Now I want to try setting up some alkalin8.3p dissolved in water on a doser. The instructions say to dissolve 2 grams in 8 ounces (236 ml) water which equals 8.45 grams/L. The calculation for how much powder to add to raise dkh is: multiply tank capacity in gallons x dKH increase desired x .089 = grams of product to add. So for me thats 200 x 0.1 x 0.089 = 1.78 grams. So with an 8.45 grams/Liter solution thats 210 ml per day. 210 ml per day seems like a large volume to me for only adding 1.78 grams. I'm wondering if anyone knows the actual solubility of the alkalin8.3p powder in water. Can it be mixed at a higher concentration than 8.45g/L so I can dose less liquid per day and thus make the solution less often?

It should be able to be mixed to at least the solubility of baking soda, which is just under 100 g/L at 20 deg C, since that is its main ingredient and the other ingredient is more soluble.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
