I seem to be in the brink if a bristle worm/fireworm infestation. I noticed one by my acan after moving all my corals to get best placement , so I just watched for the past 2 hours and I have found at the least 20 and that's just what I found....I need some advice. Should I go nuts and get rid of these things there about a1/2 an inch(The biggest )the smallest I saw was about 1/4 inch?? I've heard the eat hard corals just got an acan a lobo and a pavona. And I'm concerned. What should I do???? I have a six line and a cleaner shrimp

If its not fed properly it may have a go at fish but over all not much to worry about with them

An easy way to catch bristle worms is to put a small piece of shrimp in a piece if panty hose and place it in the tank over night. The bristle worms to for the shrimp while the lights are out and get stuck in the panty hose. In the morning simply remove the panty hose with the bristle worms stuck to it. There's a thread in here where someone caught 100+ in a night.

Bristle worms are good for your tank, they eat all of the uneaten food and detritus. If you think you have to many don't feed as much.
They do not eat healthy coral, an arrow crab will become more of a problem than the bristle worms ever will be.
