Bristle Worms freak me out

So today I was moving some frags around in the frag tank when I pulled one out of the water to look at it. I flipped it over to see how far the frag was encrusting onto the plug and the next thing I know I am throwing the coral across the basement. I dont know what it is but bristle worms freak me out. There wrapped around the base of the frag plug was a wriggling little monster and I couldn't get it out of my hand fast enough. I usually have nerves of steel but when it comes to those little things (or spiders) i sure am a baby

Totally understand!! The back of my hand has scars on it because of smashing it into my lights after coming into near contact with a BW! You don't wanna know what spiders do to me. YIKES!!!

Hahaha.there def no fun idk how many times iv pulled my hand out of my tank with bristles stuck in my finger,cleaning sumps out at work was realy bad lol

Haha don't feel like the lone ranger! In over 15 years of reefing I've never been stung by one and I don't ever intend to....

Two and a half years in and I just got stung by one about a week ago. Still itches like crazy.
