Would a brittle star ophiuroidea sp, be suitable for a 20g? About 2.5 months old. Only threat may be a coral banded shrimp

U would be fine though, some prefer 30 g tank. It may feed on pellets, pods, etc.

Good luck:)

Thanks mate. I’ll be keeping him fed with mysis and try supplementing with pods, and if he gets too big I rehome him. I attached a photo, it’s reef safe yeah?

I think it is reef safe. It will eat whatever will fall near it. Still keep it full to play safe. It will help u to clean up uneaten food if I am right

Yeah 99% they’re detritus feeders, I’ll just target feed him every few days

Good plan. They're a neat addition and easy to feed
I can’t wait!! I added a ton of micro brittle stars, but my banded shrimp decided he’d systematically hunt and eat every single one of them hahaha. Pity, but he’s a good shrimp and eats excess bristle worms, so he’s a keeper
