It’s going good. I’ve had a little STN on some of my SPS lately and had my skimmer go nuts for a few days. I think the STN is due to removing the Poly-Filter I usually run. There must be something in my water that the Poly-Filter is catching. The skimmer craziness was due to me not cleaning it well enough. There were big chunks of skimmate that fell down on top of the bubble plate causing it to overflow. Once I cleaned it, it’s been back to normal.

I’m looking at getting an Apex EL sometime soon, then also adding a calcium reactor. I want my tank to be as maintenance-free as possible.

I'm not brave enough for a calcium reactor. They make me nervous. I'm hoping my 2-part dosing will be just as maintenance free. It's not cheap, but I'm considering getting an automatic neck cleaner and skimmate locker to help reduce the maintenance I have to do. If not for cleaning the skimmer twice a week I could do nothing but feed the fish during the week.
