Previous saltwater tanks (about 20 yrs ago) so I’m foggy on treatments.
Set up a 16g biocube, it cycled perfectly. Took water to LFS and they agreed it was ok to add livestock. We added a 2 clown and some snails. Everything was fine until about Wednesday. Progressively got worse and the white one was not eating and staying at the bottom of the tank. Left and went to LFS, got Rally Pro and API’s E M Erythromycin. Came home and the white one had died. I did a 2.5g water change, added 1oz Rally Pro. The black clown is still super energetic and eats like a pig. Treated again with 1oz Rally Pro today. Thoughts? I have nothing in the tank now except the sand, rock, black clown, and some snails.

Yes and has the signs and symptoms. The most significant sign is the amount of slime on its body which is noticeable on the fish. This mucus generally starts at the facial area as well as gills and spreads across the body producing lesions as it progresses often confused with ich and can turn into secondary bacteria. Other symptoms will be lethargic behavior, refusing to eat and heavy breathing from the mucus.
Start with a prolonged 60 minute bath of ruby rally pro then at a lower concentration in a quarantine tank. The longer the fish are exposed to the treatment, the more effective it will be at eliminating this issue.
Since a formalin solution is often not available for use, temporary relief can be achieved by giving the fish a FW bath or dip in water same temperature as display tank. Even though this treatment will not cure the disease, it can help to remove some of the parasites, as well as reduce the amount of mucus in the gills to assist with respiration problems.
Treatment is best done in a QT tank using either quick cure (more effective but now harder to find) or Ruby Rally Pro. Ruby takes a little longer and initial treatment generally takes 2-3 days to really start going to work.
With the advanced stage of this- I recommend immediate quarantine of all inhabitants and leaving display without fish for 4-6 weeks.
A quarantine system if you dont have one can be as easy as a second hand tank from a thrift store or as simple as a starter tank kit from Walmart which has most of the essentials

I don’t have anything else in the tank. Just the one black one who has zero lethargy and is eating like crazy and a few snails. I have rock and sand but that’s it.

You can treat within tank as Ruby Rally is safe for coral and inverts

I’d treat the whole tank with rally pro just to okay it safe. I would not try adding any new fish for at least 3, better yet 4 weeks. Also, understand that clowns often fight at first, you might consider done other species.

How many days should I treat with the ruby rally ? Today was my 3rd dose. And do you think the black cloth will make it?

I think the minimum treatment is 3 days, but I’d go 5 days.

The black clown has been the same. He’s full of energy and eats like a pig but does have white spots and he has white on his mouth I’m seeing. I tried to get a picture but he is so all over the place. The green tint is from the ruby rally. I also have the API E. M. Erythromycin to treat but not sure I can do that + the ruby rally.
I checked water today with the Fritz test kit and all the levels at 0. PH is 7.5-8. My lighting stinks in here.

It doesn’t look like the ruby reef is doing much, but maybe it is keeping the fish from getting worse.

I don’t think the erythromycin will help with this, but I’m at a loss to suggest something else.

I went back and reread the whole thread - didn’t see any new clues. Could you post a clear video of the fish? That might give me some more insight.

Here’s a video.

Sorry - I didn’t see a video attached. If you can’t upload it directly here, hosting on YouTube also works well.

Sorry - I can’t see any definitive symptoms here.

Since you’re right there with the fish, perhaps self diagnosis will work:
