I have brown algae growing only on the tips of my zoas, its keeping some of them from opening and the rock is too large to remove to dip the colonies affected. how do I handle this? most recent parameters were
salinity -1.025
alk-10
phosphate-0.12
nitrate-18.2
it only seems to be affecting half the colonies, nothing has changed in regards to lighting and flow.

Need pictures to know what you're talking about. But hows the flow? Detritus will settle on corals and algae will grow if there is not enough flow to 'clean' corals.
