I purchased a gold torch coral from my lfs and made the mistake of not dipping. I've purchased 80% of my coral from them with no problems but then again I usually dip. Anyways today I noticed brown jelly at the base on the skeleton of the torch and it wasn't fully opening . I immediately took it out and used a soft tooth brush and removed all the jelly best I could then dipped in seachem reef dip. I'll keep a close eye on it for the next few days. Does anyone know of a sure way of removing this for good. None of my other corals seem to be infected. Just the torch and it's my favorite piece, it's gold with purple tips !! I don't want to lose it. I just put him back into the tank and he's closed up. Sorry I didn't get a picture I went into full panic mode! He was $60!!!
