I bought some, Im going to try it. Would it be better since I have some large patches to remove the rock if possible and put it in a bucket of tank water, cover it then rinse and put back in the tank? How long should I let it sit?Probably smother some corals. Could try killing them with kaulk paste if segregation isn't an option.
I think these are actually blue, I wasnt looking with a good light when I first saw them. Under my Kessil they have a blue/purple colorTry your best to get them out. The brown ones seem to produce a stronger chemical warfare than the blue and they are agressive. They will definately intentionally grow right over any coral that grows slower than them and release toxins while they are at it.
The blue ones dont seem to be as agressive, as the ugly brown.
You can slow them down with kalk but not much.
Theres a medication that some people are using to wipe them out.
As with any treatment in a reef it scares me a bit but...
