BRS 1g clear Mr Chili mixing dosing jug smells like cabbage!

Recieved the clear Mr Chili mixing jug today, and it stinks like cabbage! Anyone else experience this? Are these repurposed from food storage?

The container did appear clean, it was just the smell that is throwing me off.

Considering whether it's safe to use it?

I do have 2 others that I don't recall smelling like this when I first recieved them last year.

Id just do RO rinse and check again

Yea, did a couple of rinses with RO but no change in the smell.
