BRS Calcium concentration

After speaking with Randy it appears our 2-Part follows Randy Farley’s 2-Part Recipe (which you can find online). I searched this up online and was getting conflicting numbers, but it will likely be roughly 29,000 ppm. Although if you weigh the calcium in grams that would be the most definitive way to find out (if it is ~400g then 29,000, if 200g then 14,700).

So Randy... what would the Calcium concentration be in Mg/L for a bag of the BRS Calcium?

I’m just trying to figure it out. So would it be about 30,120 mg/L.?

Sorry Guys especially @Randy. I made another thread but maybe i can get information here regarding the Calcium.

I have been using the 2 part of the receipt using Baking Soda and BRS Calcium Chloride but now the BRS Calcium is expensive to ship to PR. It is the double the cost of the Calcium so i am looking for a substitute for BRS Calcium that i can find on Amazon, Walmart, etc.

So the question is what Calcium Chloride are you using or recommend i can get easy?

A food (fcc) or pharmaceuticals (usp) grade calcium chloride should be fine. Other grades may or may not be ok

It looks to be the anhydrous form (confirm that when you get it, it will get hot on mixing with fresh water). For these forms, use 20% (1/5) less. So a recipe that called for 500 grams, use 400 grams.

calcium chloride is used to speed hardening of concrete especially in cold temperature. You might try redimix concrete places. here in America it like $20US for a 50 pound bag. good luck
